While visiting San Francisco for a conference, I made time for some urban exploring.
- The Ferry Building and Bay Bridge on a beautiful sunny day.
- The hotel across the street made an awesome vantage point.
- Pier 7 and a cool view of the Transamerica Pyramid.
- Coit Tower from Pier 7.
- All the Pier 39 sea lions lounging in front of Forbes Island.
- Tourists getting a good look at the sea loins, with Alcatraz in the background.
- Another awesome hotel viewpoint! Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower, and Alcatraz Island!
- City Hall. I’m obsessed with sunbursts right now.
- City Hall’s dome looking pretty epic.
- A cool spiral staircase I found in City Hall.
- The classic Painted Ladies photo.
- Cool patterns on this apartment building right next to the Painted Ladies.
- Baker Beach at sunset! Complete with another starburst, of course.
- The Golden Gate Bridge at sunset.
- A fisherman on Torpedo Wharf at sunset, with some beautiful colors above the city.
- The Golden Gate Bridge after the sun set!
- My friends being stupidly cute.
- Some friends decided to roam San Francisco as unicorns – I saw them off as they started their adventure at the cable cars on Powell.
- Unicorning around!
- On my flight back to Seattle, I got some pretty epic windowseat views of Mount Rainier exploding through a blanket of clouds.
